How do I study a Collection?
The collections a teacher has created will be organized in a Course, Unit, Lesson folder hierarchy. To start studying a collection, please login to Gooru and follow the steps below.
1. Click on the Classroom you’ve joined from your homepage.
2. Click on the Unit title bar to drill down to the Lesson folder.
3. Click on the Lesson title bar to drill down to the Collection.
4. Click on the Collection title bar to launch the Collection Player.
The collection player is used to view resources and questions in a collection. You can view resources and questions in any order by clicking on the resource on the left navigation menu. You can also use the right or left arrow keys on the keyboard to navigate among the resources sequentially. Click on the reaction icons on the top to rate resources as you move through the collection. For question items, you can select your answers or write an open response. Make sure you click “Save and Next” before moving on to the next resource. When you’ve finished studying a collection, view your summary report to see how you performed. You can see which questions you got correct, how you reacted, and how much time you spent on each resource. You can always exit out of the player by clicking on the “Back” arrow button on the top left to go back to your previous screen.
