How do I study a Collection or Assessment?

1. Click on the Course Map.  
2.  To access the Collections and Assessments, click on the Unit Title to expand the Lessons > click on the Lessons Title to view the Collections and Assessments.

3.  Click on the Play button of the Collection or Assessment you want to study.
 4. If you clicked on the Collection Play button, you will see the Collection Prompt. Note the description of what you will be learning about in the Collection.  Press Continue to start studying.


If you clicked on the Assessment Play button, you will see the Assessment Prompt. Note if you are allowed to skip around on the assessment or you can only move forward, and also note how many attempts you are allowed to take the assessment.  Press Continue to start the Assessment.

5. You will be taken to the Study Player.

In the top bar, you can:
  • Go back to the homepage by clicking on the Gooru logo.
  • Go to the Daily Class Activities and My Location pages.
  • View the name of the Class.
  • View the number of competencies you completed out of the total number of competencies.
  • See your overall performance in the course.  
 
In the main area of the player, you can view resources or answer questions in the main study area of the player.
 
In the bottom bar, you can:
  • Click Previous/Next buttons to navigate between resources or questions.
  • Click on the name of the resource/question to open a list.  You can skip around to view a resource again or if it’s allowed, navigate backwards to change your answers.
  • React to a resource or question.
  • Click on the square to open the Study Player in full screen.
  • Click on Related Content to view suggested resources relating to the collection or assessment being studied.
