How do I assign Daily Class Activities from my Content Library?

You can assign collections and/or assessments as Daily Class Activities (DCA) that you want students to complete for that day.  To assign an assessment or collection to your DCA, you need to have a classroom set up first.

You can add content to the DCA from:
  1. Your Course Map
There are 2 ways to add DCA’s that are in your Content Library:
  1. Directly from the DCA page
  2. From the Content Manager

To assign Collections and/or Assessments directly from the DCA page:

1.  Click on Daily Class Activities of the classroom you want to add the DCA to.
2.  Select if you want to add a Collection or Assessment.
3. Click the dropdown arrow > select My Content.
4. Click the Collections or Assessments tab > find the activity you want to add to DCA > click the + plus sign.
5. The Collection and/or Assessment is added to your DCA.  You can now do the following:
  • Click the On/Off button to assign the Collection or Assessment to students.  
  • Click the Go Live round button on the Assessment to open the Go Live Dashboard and see how students respond to each question in real-time.  
  • Click the - minus sign to remove the Collection or Assessment from the DCA.
 

To assign Collections and/or Assessments from your Content Manager:

1.  Click Content Manager > My Content > Collections or Assessments tab > find the activity you want to add to DCA > click the + plus sign.
2. Select a classroom you want to add the DCA to > click Add button.
3. Click Classrooms > Daily Class Activities.
4. The Collection and/or Assessment is added to your DCA.  You can now do the following:
  • Click the On/Off button to assign the Collection or Assessment to students.  
  • Click the Go Live round button on the Assessment to open the Go Live Dashboard and see how students respond to each question in real-time.  
  • Click the - minus sign to remove the Collection or Assessment from the DCA.
